Wireless Internet Institute Launches W2i.com Web Portal
Multimedia Web Site Supports Peer-to-Peer Learning
on the Wireless Opportunity for Communities Worldwide

The Wireless Internet Institute, producer of the W2i Digital Cities Convention, today announced the launch of its new Web site, W2i.com, to provide public- and private-sector stakeholders around the world with an online forum to share best practices on the broadband-wireless opportunity for cities, communities and regions. W2i.com is designed to be the major Web portal providing local-government decision makers, agency executives, ecosystem members and institutional technology stakeholders with a firsthand understanding of metro-scale wireless infrastructure, applications, services, and state-of-the-art implementation strategies. The site has several interactive components, allowing users to: - search a global database of case studies,

- identify weekly city and county Requests for Proposals;
