06/21/2007 1.Milledgeville (GA) Wireless Network RFP Due Date Extended to July 6, 2007 The City has modified its coverage requirements to at least 8 square miles with 90% of this coverage area; 90% of residences and businesses in this area should be able to connect. Public safety based access to every street in the City boundary using a 2 to 4 Watt mobile CPE that is mounted in a vehicle. The City prefers the public / private partnership model, but will accept proposals that are based on different business models including performance contracting. The City is open to alternative technology proposals, but respondents should be aware of the current expectations for the Wireless Communities Georgia program. • More
