1.California RFI for Wi-Fi at 87 Highway Rest Stops
The State of California, Department of Transportation (Caltrans), is seeking response to this Request for Information (RFI) in an effort to gain detailed information on the installation, operation, telecommunication requirements, maintenance, and cost of providing and determining the best business and technical approach of providing, at a minimum, wireless broadband service (WiFi) at all 87 Safety Roadside Rest Area units in California. Caltrans is considering both turnkey and itemized responses. This is not a solicitation for such products and/or services and no award will result. Responses due February 1, 2008.
