The City, the Greater Dover Chamber of Commerce and Dover Main Street applied for a New Hampshire Division of Economic Development Telecom & Technology Match grant in June 2007. Alaska RFI to Improve Connectivity to Lower 48 The University of Alaska (University) is seeking a capital budget appropriation from the State of Alaska for the purpose of obtaining increased bandwidth capacity between Alaska and lower-48 location(s). This Request for Information (RFI) is issued for the purpose of identifying methodologies whereby the University and third parties may work collaboratively to provide such increased bandwidth. The RFI is being issued pursuant to Alaska Statutes AS36.30, et seq, for the purpose of facilitating, preliminary, confidential discussions between the University and entities that may be in a position to propose viable solutions. If an appropriation is made, the information provided in response to this RFI may be used by the University to develop, structure, and issue a request for proposals, or one or more single-source contracts.
