1.Austin (TX) Plans One Square Mile of Wireless by October
The Associated Press: "It's part of a $1.2 million pilot project through the Austin Utilities
Board. Officials have been planning it for several years.
"Eventually, city officials hope most of the city will be served by
municipal wireless with about 425 access points.
"Officials haven't yet determined how much they will charge for the service."
