The Appalachian Council of Governments (ACOG),as grant administrator for the Counties of Anderson, Oconee, and Pickens, is soliciting proposals from qualified consulting firms to provide a frameworkfor communities in the three county study area to develop broadband projects. The master planning initiative is to result in the production of an existing conditions inventory; a needs assessment; goals, objectives, and priorities;and an implementation plan. The implementationplan is to include: a network organization and operation section, broadband infrastructure section, funding strategies, and a community education and training section.
