Funding Rural Broadband Wireless: Alvarion Achieves "Buy American" Status for Its Mobile WiMAX Solutions

In a first, USDA's Rural Utilities Service (RUS) Telecommunications Program says it's okay for operators tapping hundreds of millions of federal loan dollars for rural broadband access to purchase mobile WiMAX equipment from Alvarion. More
